A Village Boy

Nayland is a small village on the Essex/Suffolk borders, in what is often called 'Constable Country' where Eric Barton was born and lived for many years, as did John Constable, one of our most notable landscape painters, and as was I. Eric describes life in the community, from 1920s to 1970s. A valuable social history, with several interesting photographs.

Everyone should write a book like this - it's your contribution to future generations. Have a look at his web page
